Darren completed his B.Sc (Hon) in Biochemistry and BA in Religious Studies at McMaster University, in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. He joined the Mattick lab as a PhD student in 2006 and is currently interested in the role of 3’UTR expression in gene regulation.
